Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security protocols for equity options trading systems
- Conduct continuous threat monitoring and incident response for financial data
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to protect algorithmic trading models
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on trading platforms
- Develop encryption strategies for sensitive financial transactions
- Lead security awareness training for trading desk personnel
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on financial services or trading systems
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH (required)
- Expertise in threat intelligence, SIEM tools, and network security
- Experience with encryption standards (TLS, PGP, AES) for financial data
- Knowledge of options trading platforms and market data protocols
- Strong background in incident response and forensic analysis
