Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading systems using SIEM tools and threat intelligence
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial platforms
- Develop incident response playbooks for trading system breaches
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with trading teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Analyze anomalous trading patterns indicative of cyber attacks
- Document security policies and conduct employee training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services/equity options experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike)
- Knowledge of trading platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and FIX protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and encryption standards
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory frameworks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
