Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Document security incidents and create reports for management.
- Assist in developing and improving security protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
