Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor and respond to security incidents (SIEM operations)
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure pipeline integration
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery drills
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, pentesting, or compliance)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and NIST frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (relocation assistance includes clearance processing)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
