Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and threat hunting operations
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Document security procedures and incident reports
- Provide guidance on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, incident response, or threat analysis)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IDS/IPS
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
