Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Respond to security incidents and lead remediation efforts
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, Metasploit
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
