Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement network security controls and firewall configurations
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with global security teams during major threat events
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in night shift roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
