Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across multi-cloud environments during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Conduct incident response investigations for potential breaches, including malware analysis and forensic triage
- Coordinate with global SOCs during critical incident escalations using Splunk and ArcSight
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence briefings for morning leadership handoff
- Implement vulnerability patching and hardening procedures for production systems
- Conduct penetration testing on network perimeters during low-traffic windows
- Maintain compliance documentation for NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC/NOC experience with night shift exposure
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS solutions
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK methodology
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure incident scenarios
- Valid US government security clearance or ability to obtain one
