Responsibilities
- Design and implement security frameworks for equity trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing on financial systems and options trading software
- Collaborate with fintech teams to identify security vulnerabilities
- Develop incident response protocols for financial cyberattacks
- Monitor threat intelligence specific to financial sector breaches
- Create security documentation for regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC)
- Mentor junior security analysts on financial cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Finance
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in fintech/financial services
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Experience with options trading platforms and market data systems
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection
- Knowledge of financial regulations (Dodd-Frank, MiFID II)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
