Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Develop and implement robust security controls for cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Document security policies and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior security professionals and stay current on emerging threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security, threat intelligence, and zero-trust architecture
- Proficiency with cloud security tools (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Sentinel)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to obtain government clearance if required
