Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security measures (firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response protocols during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop security automation tools using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate anomalies
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or similar roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
