Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
