Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures using next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response operations for critical security breaches including threat hunting, containment, and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security engineers through knowledge sharing and hands-on workshops
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in infrastructure security
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ with current credentials
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with security automation tools
- Deep understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with rapid decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
