Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premises environments
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Prepare comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports for regulatory standards
- Mentor junior team members on emerging threat intelligence and defensive techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on network security and threat mitigation
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit)
- Excellent analytical skills for complex threat investigation
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
