Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts using SIEM tools
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Document security incidents and incident response activities
- Perform basic threat analysis and investigation tasks
- Support security awareness training initiatives
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy implementation
- Participate in simulated security drills and exercises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
