Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Lead and execute incident response plans to contain, investigate, and remediate security breaches effectively.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to uncover hidden threats within the network.
- Security Audits: Perform regular security assessments and compliance audits to ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS).
- Firewall & Network Security: Configure and manage firewall rules and network security devices to block malicious traffic.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and metrics for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or a related IT security field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), SOAR platforms, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
