Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Utilize SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches and malware incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weak points in our network.
- Compliance: Ensure all security protocols align with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and update defense strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SOC or Security Operations Center environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
