Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001
- Document security policies and conduct employee awareness training
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active DoD 8570 compliance certification
