Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Incident response handling including forensic analysis and mitigation
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response and threat intelligence platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
