Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks/applications
- Develop/implement security policies and incident response procedures
- Analyze malware and cyber threats using forensic tools
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Generate security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
