Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, malware infections, and suspicious activities.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple security incidents simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
