Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic analysis of cyber threats and breach scenarios
- Implement advanced threat detection protocols across networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Document security events and maintain compliance documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Participate in weekend rotational shifts for continuous coverage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or incident response
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat investigation
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud security
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
