Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using SOAR tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Document incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident response, or threat hunting)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel)
- Knowledge of network protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6am-6pm)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
