Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threats
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate security reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat detection and incident response
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid US driver's license for potential travel
