Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate potential security incidents using forensic tools and techniques
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Document security incidents, response procedures, and improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Stay updated on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic analysis
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
