Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Execute vulnerability scans and penetration tests on weekend rotation
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during critical incident escalations
- Document incident reports and contribute to threat intelligence databases
- Conduct weekend-specific security audits for client infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC/NOC experience preferred)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend scenarios
- Valid US government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Weekend shift availability (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)
