Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems 24/7 during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with SOAR automation tools
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with incident response team during weekend security breaches
- Generate detailed incident reports and security trend analysis
- Implement firewall and intrusion detection system configurations
- Conduct security awareness training for weekend IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently during off-hours
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site security audits
