Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend schedules
- Document security events and incident reports using NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend incident response activations
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Conduct weekend security awareness training for internal stakeholders
- Participate in 24/7 rotation for critical incident escalation support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with weekend shift experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Experience with Windows/Linux security hardening and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat pattern recognition
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend scenarios
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in Columbus facility
