Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with NIST-aligned protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security automation scripts for threat detection
- Collaborate with global SOC teams during cross-continental incident responses
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or incident response roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Clearable background check required
