Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for 24/7 threat detection during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents including malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Provide after-hours security support during weekends and on-call rotation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
