Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across 24/7 SOC infrastructure during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response playbooks
- Document security events using NIST and MITRE frameworks
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles for weekend access controls
- Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) using UEBA tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or 5+ years equivalent hands-on experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proven incident response handling with IR frameworks
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Windows/Linux systems
- Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently under pressure during critical incidents
- Weekend shift availability (Friday 12PM - Sunday 12PM) mandatory
