Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal SLA
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and intrusion attempts
- Implement security patches and hardening measures during maintenance windows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response activations
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security trend analyses
- Conduct weekend vulnerability scans and penetration testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/NOC environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security protocols
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening and log analysis
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure incident scenarios
- Valid U.S. government clearance preferred
- Weekend shift availability (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon) mandatory
