We're seeking a dedicated Weekend Shift Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our clients' critical infrastructure from evolving threats. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SOAR automation
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major incident responses
- Develop and refine playbooks for weekend-specific threat scenarios
- Provide after-hours security briefings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Expertise in threat detection (IDS/IPS, EDR) and incident response
- Strong familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 10am-6pm)
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
