Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with 15-minute SLA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend systems
- Collaborate with on-call engineers to resolve critical security events
- Document incident reports and contribute to threat intelligence
- Perform weekend firewall and IDS/IPS configuration reviews
- Participate in quarterly weekend cybersecurity drills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT with 3+ years experience
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Clearances: Must pass background investigation
- Weekend shift availability mandatory (Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts)
