Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and systems
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with urgency and precision
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis tools
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, encryption, and network protocols
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend shifts
