Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across enterprise systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop incident response protocols
- Generate detailed security reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and encryption standards
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 4PM-12AM)
