Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents including malware, intrusion attempts, and anomalous network behavior
- Document incident response activities and generate detailed security reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and patches
- Participate in weekend security drills and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies through continuous training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on incident response experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats during high-pressure situations
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
