What You'll Do
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and implement proactive measures to safeguard our organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and manage remediation efforts for identified weaknesses.
- Configure and manage network security devices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network administration.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel) and Log4j awareness.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems administration and scripting (Python or PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
