Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, root cause analysis, and implement effective remediation strategies.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure robust security postures.
- Manage and respond to security tickets within ServiceNow, prioritizing critical issues for immediate resolution.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Security Awareness training programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with security tools such as FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, or similar EDR/SIEM solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) is a plus.
