Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and triage incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches and malware events
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, IDS/IPS signatures, and endpoint security
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and patch management
- Generate incident reports and executive security dashboards
- Develop playbooks for emerging threat vectors (ransomware, APTs)
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Familiarity with NIST CSF framework and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
