Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and vulnerability patches
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive security dashboards
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on enterprise systems
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS Controls, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
