Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate breach response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Provide threat intelligence briefings to leadership
- Manage security tool integrations and automation
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in security operations center (SOC) environments
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certifications required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong analytical skills and incident response experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
