Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls (Zscaler, Palo Alto)
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Incident response experience (NIST SP 800-61)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
