Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.
- Manage user access controls and perform regular audits to ensure compliance with standards like HIPAA or PCI-DSS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
