Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and penetration testing to ensure the integrity of network systems.
- Enforce security policies and configurations across firewalls, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Investigate security breaches, root cause analysis, and develop remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Prepare and present security posture reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
- Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and threat intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a significant plus.
