As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will monitor our network infrastructure, detect vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and containment strategies.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security controls and patches.
- Generate and present regular security reports to stakeholders and management.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
