Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Analyze network traffic and log data to identify anomalous behavior and potential threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports for stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
