Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across the network infrastructure in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Manage and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to ensure comprehensive visibility.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware infections and unauthorized access attempts.
- Enforce and maintain compliance with internal security policies, industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST), and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen the overall security posture of the organization.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CySA+ are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and threat hunting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Top Secret/Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
