Responsibilities
- Monitor security threats using SIEM tools and respond to incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Analyze network traffic logs to detect and mitigate sophisticated cyber attacks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Document security findings and provide executive-level reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Proven ability to work independently in remote/hybrid settings
- Excellent written communication for security documentation and reporting
