Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities to strengthen network defenses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation strategies.
- Enforce information security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement secure network architecture.
- Manage security documentation, including risk assessments and audit reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
